Production of a Master CD-ROM

An interactive CD-ROM with all Abstracts of a congress's Scientific Programme can be produced by GLOBIT GmbH.

The most important functionalities of this CD-ROM are the search functionality for all Abstract contents based on a full-text search, the supply of the participants' data from the Who-is-Who index and a structured presentation of the Scientific Programme. With this, participants can browse the programme by days, formats or tracks.

The interactive CD-ROM thus offers "the Internet to take-away", for example during train or plane travelling.
Generally, all data used for the production of the CD can also be stored in data formats for mobile devices like PDAs and be reused in many ways.

Presentation of the programme at the congress venue

During the run of a congress, the current events of the Scientific Programme can be displayed on information screens within the congress venue by using the information system CO CONGRESS ONLINE ®.

Because of the guaranteed timeliness of the displayed information, these screens serve as an important means of information and orientation for congress participants.
